African women, employment and fertility behavior

Farah Asna-Ashari, Ministry of Education, Iran

Defining the role and position of women is an important arena. A clear recognition of their social, economic and cultural personality is a prerequisite for correct planning and administrating of female issues. This cognition necessarily relies on a solid and comprehensive statistical image of their position based on the data collected. This study has been undertaken to compile and organize women employment and fertility changes in Africa. I have chosen 10 African countries and compared them in changes in women employment and their fertility behavior
